Sudan report from 14th of May

The first week of Popping and Jigging started on the 14th of May with our good friend Alessandro Massari come back again to Sudan and some other anglers friends of us, the weather looked good but even too flat to find good action, in fact the fishing started being tough with fish striking on small lures as expected with these calm conditions. We missed a good number of fish due to lazy and short strikes in the first days, but over all we managed to land some jam of coral species and Trevallies. We lost a huge Sailfish on Jigging right by the boat and another one that striked on topwater and also came off. Eventually we managed to find the action on some reef where we had a very good amount of strikes for a couple of days, again many fish came off including some proper size GT, but we also landed some good ones up to 25kg and a nice Napoleon.
