FISHING DJIBOUTI
Fishing in Djibouti represent without any doubt one of the last frontiers for the fanatic Gt hunters. Despite it being quite easy to reach, the sea still haven’t been exploited because of the total absence of human structure on the coastline, making This place is really unique and pristine. What makes Djibouti an excellent place for fishing is the strategic position between the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea, making the sea extremely rich in nutrients, current, and passage of pelagic between the Indian Ocean and the Red Sea.
SOCOTRA FISHING: MONSTER GT
Fishing Socotra is a unique experience. This island, about 120 km long, is considered the windiest in the world and is beaten by very strong currents, factors that make the sea impassable for about 7 months a year in the most productive spots. The island is also known for its many endemic dragon trees and numerous other species of plants, birds, reptiles, and insects that live only here, so much to be appealed as the Galapagos of the Indian Ocean, and is recognized as a natural heritage of ‘ Humanity by UNESCO. The island is populated, there aren’t any accommodations with the exception of a few spartan camping, and fishing villages are few and far from everything, sometimes reachable only by boat. Thanks to these characteristics, often in beautiful places for fishing, with high cliffs overlooking the sea, sand dunes, or uninhabited islands, which transmit sensations enough to make us think of fishing in prehistoric times.

FLY FISHING DJIBOUTI
After some inspection, we started to believe that Djibouti has great potential for fly fishing, because of the absence of humans on the vast majority of the coast, and because of the variety of environments that we found, from coral reef surrounding small beautiful sandy flats to huge mangroves lagoon estuary with huge flats, channel and sand bank, and some crystal clear beach to sight fish.
SUDAN FISHING: NUBIAN FLAT

At the moment Sudan is the last new in the world of fly fishing destination, which makes it even more exciting to visit this country for fly fishing, during the first exploration we discover pristine fisheries of Permit and Milkfish, and probably the best fisheries of Triggerfish of the world. Other common catches on the fly are Gt, Bohar Snapper, and Bluefin Trevally, but also Bonefish and other coral species are present and possible to catch. For the most fanatics, the huge presence of Dogtooth Tuna, makes them catching on the fly highly possible.
