Sudan Popping report - March to April
The week started slow as I expected, we had three days of satanic wind, showering us in the boat from the morning to the sunset! Despite this conditions, we had a great surprise, just in front of the port, we had onboard a 40kg plus GT!!!
Sudan Popping report - February to March
With the strong north wind conditions, fishing was hard for our group made of people from Croatia, Serbia, and Germany. Still, they were able to land some trophy fish as the trip progressed.

We went to the north this time and had amazing conditions and company. Weather was real nice the whole trip, and we saw lots of fish.
Round 5 of our deep south Sudan expeditions
Despite some windy days in the start of the trip, we managed to find some sweet GT fishing, caught big Bluefins and Bohars, and saw a really good amount of triggers on the flats.

If Sudan gave us shots at lots of triggerfish, we landed GT's, Bluefins, Bohar, big Barracudas, different trevallys and snappers.

Round two of our fishing adventure in the deep south of Sudan was an exciting one. Despite some windy conditions at the start of the trip, we had good shots at most of our target species, and some good fish were landed.

Sudan report from 14th of May
The first week of Popping and Jigging started on the 14th of May with our good friend Alessandro Massari come back again to Sudan and some other anglers friends of us, the weather looked good but even too flat to find good action, in fact, the fishing started being tough with fish striking on small lures as expected with these calm conditions.

As guiding in South Africa goes, there is no formal training or ways to get into it, you just somehow land in the thick of it. It’s February, year number 5 and season number 15 or 16 guiding for African Waters, I think, somewhere around there and once again I found myself in an airport drinking terrible coffee and eating food that is probably laden with MSG’s, traveling to yet another far-flung African destination.
