Sudan, Deep South week 3

With this week we can end the season Deep South in Sudan, where we will go from fishing atolls in the middle of the Red Sea to endless costal flats. This week time has been taught, big swells and close to 30 knots of wind but we managed to find a good amount of fish on the flats giving the chance to have shots to every species.

We found a tricky fishing for all the species with the full moon because they were feeding during the night but we were able to make numbers again. We landed 17 triggers between yellow margin and titan, having doble with many species and a doble strike with a bluefin and brown-marbled grouper and finding some fish balls having madness moments on fly overcoming the amount of 40 bluefin in one morning.

Geets were so slow for the full moon but we landed 3 on fly and losing few and having shot to rally big Geets on the flats even this week we were able to have shots to giant bump head parrotfish and some napoleons on the flats.

These guys managed to land a huge barracuda on the flat too, that fish was trying to eat a big bluefin they hooked and ten minutes later they had a good chance with the barracuda again.

We enjoyed the time with these guys from the United States and Namibia onboard the Don Questo spend a lot of time laughing and joking! Cheers guys!
